


Dean F. Stratouly
Co-Founder/President
Mr. Stratouly has primary responsibility for the company’s
investment strategy, deal generation, institutional
relationships and long-term strategic planning. He analyzes
acquisition opportunities, leads in providing advisory services,
manages the firm’s existing real estate portfolio and actively
oversees every company transaction. Prior to founding The
Congress Group, Mr. Stratouly was Vice President of Operations
at Wright Pierce Architects/Engineers and held a variety of
positions at Babcock and Wilcox, including Regional Sales
Manager for its Diamond Power division. Mr. Stratouly is a
long-time Board Member of the Massachusetts Convention Center
Authority and served as its Development Committee Chair. In this
capacity, he was responsible for overseeing the successful
development and construction of the 2.1 million square foot
Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. Mr. Stratouly is also a
long-time board member and former President of the Greater
Boston Real Estate Board. He serves on several other corporate
and non-profit boards and is a frequent guest lecturer at the
MIT Center for Real Estate and the Brown University Urban
Studies Program. Mr. Stratouly earned a Bachelor of Science in
Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a
Master of Business Management from Central Michigan State
University.
